DESCRIPTION

One look at this plant and you will understand why it is named sweetheart. It has perfectly heart-shaped bright green leaves that emerge on vining stems. Although it is a slow grower, it appreciates being in a hanging basket where it can grow into a full bush of green hearts over time.

The Sweetheart Hoya is definitely very easy to care for. With its fleshy succulent leaves, it is drought tolerant and can get by with as little as one to two waterings a month. When watering, make sure that it is watered deeply and the excess water is allowed to drain thoroughly. With regard to light conditions, this Hoya can thrive anywhere. It can tolerate relatively low light conditions, however, it does best under bright indirect light where it is more likely to bloom.
