The Clusia Rosea plantâs thick and leathery, paddle-shaped leaves offer an informal look to your home. It is also called autograph plant because you can âwriteâ on their leathery leaves by scratching them, and itâll stay on there until the leaf falls.
It does very well in variable light conditions and is highly resistant to disease and insects. It doesn't take much in the way of care and, due to its density and height, pitch apple plant is often planted as a shade tree where it can create a nice canopy. Itâs a perfect plant for a sunny balcony or rooftop garden. Because these semi-succulents are usually found near the sea, they are very salt-tolerant and wind-tolerant.
Grown outside, this fast-growing plant can reach heights of up to 6m. Indoors they can be kept as compact houseplants between 50-100cm.
Important to know: As plants are natural products, form, pattern and colour will vary.Â
