DESCRIPTION

Also called Jewel Alocasia, the Alocasia Pink Dragon is an exceptionally beautiful plant with metallic green leaves that have silvery markings burgundy undersides and bright pink stalks. The deep veins in its broad leaves look like  a dragon’s scale, hence the name. 

Caring for this plant is close to other Elephant Ear. It grows best under bright, indirect light. If grown outdoors, it prefers shelter from the hot afternoon sun and a warm spot. Watering can be done about once a week, allowing top 2-3 inches of soil to dry out between waterings. The Pink Dragon is far less tolerant of moist soil than other thinner leaf varieties.

The Alocasia Pink Dragon has evergreen foliage which suggests that it will stay beautiful and elegant throughout the year.
