DESCRIPTION

Destined for the high life, the Alocasia Black Velvet is a plant equivalent of royalty. With its dark and velvety foliage contrasted with silvery veins, it is easy to see why its name, Alocasia reginula, literally means “Little Queen”.

To grow healthily, make sure that your Alocasia Black Velvet is placed in a bright and warm spot. The plant will thrive under bright indirect light. Also, keep its soil evenly moist but not soggy. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out before watering again.

High humidity will keep your Alocasia happy. You can use a humidifier to boost humidity at home or mist it at least once a day. Placing it in a tray filled will pebbles and water will also do the trick.

P.S. Don’t fight the urge to shout “All hail the Queen!” as the plant reaches your doorstep.

Important to know: As plants are natural products, form, pattern and colour will vary.
