DESCRIPTION

Titty Cactus is a cultivar of the more common Myrtillocactus geometrizans. Its name comes from the peculiar shape of the tubercles ribs that resemble female breasts. Apart from the shape, this cactus has features similar to its sister, the Blue Myrtle Cactus, which can grow up to 4.5 meters tall.

The Titty Cactus requires a lot of natural light and mature plants love the full sun. When grown indoors, the plant should be placed in a very sunny spot. As with other Myrtillocactus, allow the soil to dry out completely before watering, usually every two weeks.

The cultivar name ‘Fukurokuryuzinboku’ roughly translates to fortune (fuku), happy (roku), dragon (ryu), god/spirit (jin), tree (boku). It was named after Fukurokuju and Ryujin, two of the Seven Lucky Gods in Japanese mythology.

Important to know: As plants are natural products, form, pattern and colour will vary.
