PLANT SIZE
Plant height/length: Around 25-30cm.
Pot size: 10cm plastic grow pot.
Can be purchased in plastic grow pot, or repotted in a simple terracotta pot (reference image provided)
DESCRIPTION
Plantain Lilies are super easy to care for. This variegated Hosta ‘Liberty’ is a less common variety named after Austrian botanist Nicholas Thomas Host (1761-1834). It typically grows in an upright vase-shape with broadly heart-shaped, green-blue leaves with a yellow trim. An impressive specimen for your indoor garden!
They are generally shade lovers, though some will tolerate dappled or morning sun if well watered. Plants grown in more sun will be more compact and produce more flowers. Hosta 'Liberty' is known for attracting bees and hummingbirds in the wild.
Some sufficient indoor light and frequent watering will keep the extremely decorative leaves happy and jazz up your living space.
