PLANT SIZE

Plant height/length: 15-25cm

Grow Pot size:  10cm

DESCRIPTION

The Platycerium veitchii ‘Lemonei’ is a beautiful and unique smaller growing epiphytic fern. This species has fronds that are covered with a thick grey felt. The fertile fronds are mostly erect while the shield fronds display unusual finger-like projections when grown under bright light.

Water this fern regularly, about once every 7-10 days, allowing top 50% of soil to dry out before watering again. The French Staghorn Fern comes from semi-desert Queensland, Australia and can therefore tolerate some drought and is heat loving. Place it in a room with bright indirect light or outdoors with partial shade.

The French Staghorn Fern takes on an antler shape as it matures, from which it gets its namesake.

Important to know: As plants are natural products, form, pattern and colour will vary.
