PLANT SIZE
Plant height/length: 30-40cm
Grow Pot size: 20-25cm (oval/hexagon pot)
DESCRIPTION
The Bird Plum Bonsai also called Chinese Sweet Plum or Sageretia is a pretty indoor bonsai which has great character at an early age due to the flaky bark revealing tones of red/tan. The stunning foliage has hints of rusty red turning to glossy green. Small white flowers give rise to tiny purple plum-shaped fruits and make this bonsai perfect for any home or office space!
The most important part of taking care of your Bonsai trees is watering. Don't let the roots dry out completely because the sageretia's leaves and twigs desiccate quickly and the whole tree can die easily from lack of water. This can happen if watering is forgotten only once!
Please avoid using air freshener near your bonsai, they are not overly keen!
Important to know: As plants are natural products, form, pattern and colour will vary.
